Clara Church of God is seeking a Student Pastor. The purpose of the position is to provide leadership, oversight, and coordination within the Clara Students department, including clarifying and casting vision to the department.

Professional representation of Clara Church of God and the Lord in all things

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Lead Clara Students by providing vision and direction and helping students becoming planted and thriving in the local church.
Oversee the Clara Students volunteers in weekly services to ensure overall success of the ministry.
Insure that the systems and structures in place for Clara Church of God are used to help students take their next step.
Regularly communicate with the Lead Pastor and other departments on behalf of the Clara Students team for all efforts, activities and status within Clara Students.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Student Ministries
Provide leadership and oversight for pastoral care to all student and team volunteers by cultivating and maintaining a shepherding relationship with them.
Design, development, implement, and regularly communicate the vision, mission, and strategy of Clara Church of God and Clara Student Ministry. .
Lead efforts and build teams to recruit, train, and release volunteers..
Provide clear direction and empower leaders, coaches, and captains to perform ministry.
Be available to assist the Lead Pastor as the need arises.

Conferences/Retreats
Ensure Clara Students take at least one annual trip to an approved conference/retreat.
Provide support for any students wanting to attend state youth camp
Be available as needed to work state youth events

Married
Agrees with/to Church of God Doctrine
Has completed or will complete within first year of employment Church of God Licensure (CAMS)
