The Children’s Pastor(s) at Action Church is responsible for the care, safety, fun, and spiritual growth for those newborn thru 5th grade. The responsibility includes training, equipping, scheduling, and developing leaders, teachers, and volunteers within the church to work in Nursery, Pre-K, and Children’s Church Ministry.
The Children’s Pastor role consist of leading or overseeing a worship service for those 1st thru 5th grade during our Sunday mornings worship service and providing mid week activities on Wednesday nights, and overseeing volunteers who teach the younger age groups. The Children’s Pastor may take on additional tasks and assignments when necessary during an event, church wide function, church wide mission, or something kid/family/outreach oriented etc.
We are looking for the right person or team to come put their faith into Action with us.
Currently our kids ministry is running around 40 to 60 kids per Sunday & around 15 to 25 mid-week.
