Lexington Church of God is accepting resumes for an anointed and experienced children’s pastor to lead our kids ministry into the next level of growth.
Lexington Church of God is located just outside of Columbia in the heart of South Carolina. We are a growing and thriving church of 650+ about to enter an exciting building phase as we add a new sanctuary and classrooms to our current facility. GO Kids Ministry at Lexington Church of God runs 100+ on Sunday and 40+ on Wednesday, with a team of over 70 volunteers. Lexington is located in one of the fastest growing areas of South Carolina with a large number of kids in the school system.
The heart of Lexington Church of God is to be A Church TO the Community. So our desire is to serve our community through various events and outreach.
This position is a full time paid position.
Ministry responsibilities:
-Oversight of all aspects of Children’s Ministry (birth – 5th grade)
-Oversight of Children’s Ministry services on Sunday and Wednesday
-Organization of all children’s ministry events
-Oversight of scheduling children’s volunteers and recruitment
-Oversee all discipleship, curriculum and training for kids ministry
-Manage children’s department budget
Requirements:
-Experience in leading a thriving kids ministry
-Preferred experience in MS Office, ProPresenter and Planning Center
