The Student Ministry Assistant at Stevens Creek Church in Augusta, Ga., will provide administrative support for the Student Pastor and the student team. This person will work closely with the Student Pastor. This person must be able to easily create organization by streamlining processes and communication with both students and leaders. This position will assist in supporting parents and families to participate in the spiritual growth of their students, while building volunteer teams alongside the Student Pastor. This position is second in command when it comes to management within the department.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES & FUNCTIONS
Participation in student events & weekly services
Support the student pastor in making disciples for Christ.
Attend Student ministry gatherings, meetings and events
Help prepare rooms + supplies for weekly/monthly gatherings
Lead when the youth pastor is out
Attend Sunday services as a representative of student ministry staff
Provide administrative support for the Student Pastor & overall Student Ministry
Help brainstorm, plan, schedule, and lead student events throughout the year.
Assist in communication with volunteers throughout the week
Keep updated records for current and pipeline volunteers on background checks, team placements, and favorite things.
Print curriculum and material for small group leaders each week
Gather resources for services and events
Finding and developing new leaders
Help compose and edit communication components
Manage database system for volunteers and students
Process new student Info Cards
Develop, implement and delegate new student follow-up process
Process registration and payment for church-wide events
Create social media content for Instagram and Facebook
Provide communication and resources across all campuses (Augusta, South Augusta, Grovetown)
Receive and respond to calls and emails requesting general information about Stevens Creek Students
Care for small group leaders (ie. birthday cards, get-well deliveries…)
Manage the student + parent + DECIDED text groups
Help plan, prepare, and execute student CAMP at Legacy Retreat Center
United Night Responsibilities (may be moved to Chandler’s plate)
Plan, prepare, and execute United Nights every 1st Wednesday of the month
Schedule, manage, and lead UN Team via PCO
Ability to relate to and connect with students (6th-12th grades)
Love Jesus and follow what the word of God says

Monday to Thursday 32 hours Wednesday night included.
Friday’s are our days off and offices are closed. So take it off!
Sunday’s are not considered a work day for you unless the Student Ministry is having an event or a booth set up.
