Open Door Church of God is a growing church searching for a Worship Ministry Pastor/Director to build an effective and thriving worship ministry for the church. Worship is one of our core values. Adding this position to our leadership team is vital to fulfilling the vision. Our church is developing a significant and positive presence in our community of Palatka, in Putnam County Florida. Palatka is a beautiful area with a rich history located in north-central Florida right on the St. John’ River and surrounded within an hour’s drive of Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Ocala, many beaches, and just little further to Orlando.
The right individual will have the opportunity of growing a worship ministry and team while growing with the church. Candidates will have a call of God for ministry, a heart for leading worship and a team, and the motivation to learn and build. The successful candidate will have to be bi-vocational. We can offer a weekly stipend with the commitment of becoming more with growth. This position is ideal for a young man or woman of God starting out in the ministry who desire mentorship while gaining real ministry experience.
