The Forest Hill Church of God in Mobile, AL is seeking a full-time worship pastor. We are a growing, multi-generational church with a blended worship style that embraces the best of contemporary praise and worship, gospel, and classic hymns.
This is a full-time position. Compensation includes a weekly salary (commiserate with experience), a monthly housing and cell-phone allowance, BCBS health and dental insurance, and retirement (for those holding ministry credentials with the Church of God).
Our team includes our front-line vocals, choir, and band (supplemented by STEMS). The worship team is supported by our church’s media department and full-time media pastor.
Responsibilities include:
-Planning and leading the weekly music set for Sunday morning services.
-Facilitating practices with the front-line vocals, choir, and band.
-Leading special worship nights and several joint-services with our Hispanic daughter church, Puerta del Cielo.
-Planning creative ways to include our children and youth worship team musically.
-Various weekly pastoral care and administrative responsibilities related to role as member of pastoral staff.
