Production Director, Dalton, GA
Crosspointe Church is a growing and life-giving church that is a great place to work. The Production Director at Crosspointe will lead the technical systems, teams, and environments that support excellent, distraction-free worship experiences across our weekend services and special events. As part of a growing congregation averaging 2,000+ in weekend attendance, this role will oversee audio, video, lighting, livestream, stage systems, and production volunteers. The Production Director should be both technically skilled and ministry-minded, able to develop volunteers, strengthen systems, troubleshoot problems, and partner closely with worship, communications, and ministry leaders to help create engaging environments where people can encounter Jesus and take meaningful next steps.
Responsibilities
• Oversee all production elements for weekend services, special events, and ministry gatherings.
• Lead, recruit, train, schedule, and develop production volunteers.
• Manage audio, video, lighting, livestream, screens, cameras, and stage systems.
• Partner with the Worship Pastor and ministry leaders to plan and execute excellent worship experiences.
• Ensure production environments are prepared, tested, and ready before services and events.
• Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment, software, and technical systems.
• Create and improve production processes, checklists, workflows, and volunteer training resources.
• Provide leadership during rehearsals, services, and major church-wide events.
• Help build a healthy team culture marked by excellence, humility, preparation, and spiritual focus.
• Manage production inventory, equipment needs, repairs, upgrades, and vendor relationships as needed.
• Support online ministry through livestream quality, camera direction, audio mix, and video presentation.
• Ensure production supports the mission of Crosspointe.
Qualifications
• A growing relationship with Jesus Christ and alignment with the mission, vision, and values of Crosspointe.
• Strong technical knowledge in audio, video, lighting, livestream, and presentation systems.
• Experience leading production in a church, live event, broadcast, or similar environment preferred.
• Familiarity with tools such as ProPresenter, digital audio consoles, lighting software, livestream platforms, and video switchers preferred.
• Ability to lead and develop volunteers with patience, clarity, and encouragement.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Organized, dependable, and able to manage details in a fast-paced ministry environment.
• Able to work collaboratively with worship, creative, and ministry teams.
• Willingness to work Sundays, rehearsals, special services/events
• Heart for ministry and understanding that production exists to serve worship, communication, and the spiritual formation of people.
• Bachelor’s degree or formal technical training preferred, but not required.
• Proven experience, skill, and leadership ability may be considered in place of formal education.
