Second Mile Church is adding a Kids Pastor to our team. Second Mile Church is located on the North Carolina coast in Wilmington, NC. We are approaching five years since we launched as a new church plant in 2021. We are a portable church meeting in a 14 cinema movie theatre right in the heart of a thriving and beautiful city that desperately needs the hope and life that Jesus offers.
Currently, we average 15-25 kids (PreK-5th) on Sundays. Our Kids Team is made up of approximately 10 active volunteers.

+Someone called to kid ministry. Ideal candidate is someone who loves kid ministry so much that a paycheck or title doesn’t determine their drive. (We know those things are a perk though 😃).
+Team Player & Team Leader- Are you looking for a church leadership team that serves together? Can you work with our volunteer team and lead them effectively?
+Creativity- Do you have a wild imagination and want to put it to good use in the context of kids ministry?
+Love for People- Are you eager to spend time with kids and families off stage to build trust and ultimately disciple them?
+Techy- Are you capable of adapting to the ever-changing technology in our culture and use that technology to reach kids and their parents?
+Second Miler- Do you find yourself going above and beyond what’s obligated to make a difference in other’s lives?
