Pine Valley Church of God (PVCOG) is looking for a full-time children/youth pastor. We are located in the southeast corner of North Carolina, in Wilmington. Our area is a beautiful place to live, raise a family and enjoy a thriving city, with beaches located a short drive from the city.
Position Description:
Children/Youth Pastor will be responsible to lead and oversee all areas of children’s and student ministries at PVCOG. Candidate must be able to work productively and in harmony with the pastor, staff, and volunteers.
Our children’s ministry is blessed with a current base of active volunteers that includes many parents and grandparents. This position requires strong leadership, organizational ability, and the willingness to invest in fostering strong, affirming relationships with parents, as well as with children and students.
This is a full-time position with a competitive compensation package that includes housing, paid vacation and sick days.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred, but non-degree candidates will be given consideration.
· Some ministry experience is preferred, including volunteer leadership
· Must possess proficient computer and technology skills
· Must possess the ability to forge and maintain productive relationships with parents, volunteers and of course, children and students/youth.
