Do you have a heart for God and a passion for guiding children in their spiritual journey? Sunset Avenue Church of God (SACOG) is looking for a dedicated Children’s Pastor to lead our SAKids Ministries (Nursery/Pre-School through 5th grade). Our mission is to help each other experience a growing relationship with Jesus by declaring, discovering, developing, deploying, and delighting in Him.
What You’ll Do:
-Lead and oversee all SAKids Ministries
-Recruit, train, and guide volunteer teams
-Coordinate Sunday School, Children’s Church, and Wednesday Discipleship
-Plan and execute engaging events and activities
-Ensure the utmost safety and security of children in your care
-Build connections with local schools and community events
-Communicate with parents and the congregation through digital and in-person channels
What We’re Looking For:
-A believer with a heart for children and a life led by the Holy Spirit
-Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in a church setting (references required)
-Licensed minister in the Church of God (preferred)
-Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
-Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Planning Center, ProPresenter 7, and digital sound consoles
-Clean criminal and driving record
