The Bay Harbour Church of God is seeking a Children’s Pastor. Responsibilities include:
– Provide vision and strategy for the development of Family Ministry (birth-6th grade).
– Recruit, equip, and oversee volunteer teams for Sunday mornings (9 & 11 AM) and Wednesday Evenings (7 PM).
– Create and organize family-centered outreach events (Fall Festival, VBS, etc.).
– Ensure check-in and safety procedures remain current and followed.
– Coordinate childcare for occasional church-wide events.
– Follow up with first-time families.
– Willingness to help accomplish other ministry objectives or projects
Qualifications:
– Love for Jesus and passion to connect with children and their families.
– Strong interpersonal skills to work with not only kids but volunteers and parents as well.
– Experience in Children’s Ministry as staff or high-level volunteer.
– Staff members’ family is expected to be a contributing part of church life (attending, serving, etc.)
Must be willing to follow the vision and direction of the Lead Pastor
Must be willing to assist in other areas of ministry as needed
