Freedom Church Pendleton, Pendleton, IN, is in the suburbs of Indianapolis and seeks a dynamic worship leader who can build our worship teams and congregation in faithfulness to God’s multi-ethnic vision as we seek to spread the knowledge and love of Jesus in our communities.
ROLE: As church staff, the music pastor partners with and is under the supervision of the pastor. As a prospective member of Freedom Church, this person is expected to maintain a Christian life, fulfill the Biblical expectations regarding leaders’ integrity, and respond to the church’s admonitions and guidance.
PURPOSE: We believe that worship turns our hearts and focus back to God. Through praise & worship music, to draw people to Christ, to grow them as disciples, to focus their worship of God, and equip them for a life lived as worship, and to coordinate their service in the worship ministries of Freedom Church. Each of these elements is done with a view toward the vision, “Love God, Love People & Serve the world,” and our ministry and musical context, which is generally contemporary and high-energy, and currently features vocals, guitar, drums, bass, and keyboard.
This part-time role is a great opportunity for the right person who is looking to use their giftings to glorify God, help grow the church, and help build the Kingdom of God.
