Job Opportunity: Next Steps Director – Full-time

Crosspointe Church is a growing and life-giving church that is a great place to work. The Next Steps Director at Crosspointe will help people move from attending to belonging. As part of a growing congregation averaging around 2,000+ in weekend attendance, this role will lead the systems and teams that help first-time guests, regular attenders, new believers, and church members take meaningful next steps. This includes guest experience, follow-up, next steps conversations, volunteer engagement, and assimilation processes. Each of these areas should reflect Crosspointe’s mission to help people Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose, and Make a Difference. The ideal candidate will be a relational leader, strong team builder, and strategic thinker. They should be able to develop leaders, strengthen systems, and help ensure that as Crosspointe continues to grow, people are personally known, intentionally connected, and spiritually encouraged.

Primary Responsibility: Move people from guest to connected member/participant.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee first impressions and hospitality teams.
• Lead guest follow-up systems.
• Manage lobby, greeters, ushers, and welcome areas.
• Oversee membership and assimilation processes.
• Lead/coordinate next steps classes and team events.
• Track guest assimilation.
• Help people discover serving opportunities.
• Create clear pathways from visit to belonging.

Qualifications:
• A passionate relationship with Jesus.
• Agreement with the church’s statement of faith.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with Planning Center is preferred.
• The ideal candidate will have previous ministry/nonprofit leadership experience in guest services, assimilation, next steps, or volunteer engagement.
• Prior experience in leading volunteers, developing leaders, and building effective systems.
• Prior experience in church ministry is preferred, but Crosspointe will also consider candidates with a strong track record of relational leadership, organizational ability, and ministry alignment.
