Reformation Sunday

Honoring our retired ministers and widows

Every year, the Church of God designates a Sunday in October to receive a special offering to honor a special group of individuals: retired ministers and widows.  It is called Reformation Sunday and it takes place this year on October 25.

Many of our retired ministers and widows come from a generation that took the call to ministry so seriously that any extra income that came their way was sown right back into the local church. This admirable burden should not be ignored, but rewarded with our willingness to give cheerfully, so that they might have a more cheerful holiday season.

All offerings received will be distributed a few weeks prior to the holiday season to let this special group of individuals know their service to the Kingdom does not go unnoticed. Please make it a matter of prayer as to what your gift will be on this day. Every dollar that is received will be distributed to bless those who have gone before us and plowed the Harvest field.
