The Pentecostal Theological Seminary is seeking a registrar.
Duties
General
1. Create and maintain policies and procedures for the office of academic records / registrar
2. Maintain the institution’s compliance with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA
3. Patriciate in the planning and executing of assigned tasks for the annual commencement ceremonies.
Registration
1. Design and publish course schedules for each semester
2. Create and revise course listings
3. Oversee the planning and execution of tasks necessary for student registration
4. Review student enrollment headcount for each course
5. Inform and assist tudents with registration
6. Maintain accurate enrollment records
7. Apply notations of registration locks
8. Compile enrollment and student data for external reports (i.e. IPEDS, SACS, ATS, etc.).
9. Compile enrollment and student data for internal reports (i.e. President’s Office, VPA/Dean’s Office, etc).
Academic Records
1. Verify new admission records for their accuracy and completion in the database.
2. Maintain digital records of academic events, such as transfer credit, course waiver/substitutions, advanced standing, satisfactory academic progress, and graduation clearance.
3. Maintain, and revise as needed, academic forms for student use.
4. Create and maintain permanent academic records for each graduate, which includes admission application, autobiography, and all transcripts from previous institutions attended.
5. Process academic transcript requests.
6. Evaluate student grades for satisfactory academic progress.
7. Schedule faculty grade submission
8. Oversee the reporting and recording of all student grades
9. Track incomplete grades for their completion
10. Maintain and revise the degree audit
Required Education and Experience
• Accredited bachelor’s degree
• A minimum of five years experience in office management
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and G-Suite
